Reverting back to itunes 8.21, still would not work.

IPB started crashing so followed munlite80's advice. Downloaded 1.9.3 (beta) to
tryout.
Uninstalled the previous IPB - important! Then copied the new
iTunesMobileDevide.dll
into the IPB folder and walah, it works. :)

I'm having the same issue.
iPhoneBrowser v.1.91
Windows XP 32-bit SP3
iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 synced with iTunes v.90.2.25, jailbroken with blackra1n.
Every time I try to open it, it crashed, gave me the same error message.
[SEE ATTACHED IMAGES OF ERROR]
I had iTunes up and running and AppleMobileDevice running, even copied
iTunesMobileDevice.dll into to the iPhoneBrower folder.
Uninstalled iPhoneBrower, reinstalled. Nada. No good.
However iPhoneExplorer works fine.

then it will get an error. iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 synced with iTunes v.90.2.25,
jailbroken
with blackra1n.
I'm using Win XP pro SP3. The most recent was this following unhanded
exception:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Don't know if that helps at all.

Ok I have the answer for this. You have to make sure:
1. You have the latest .net Frameworks installed.
2. Itunes is running along with the Itunes and Iphones services.
*AppleMobileDeviceService
*AppleMobileDeviceHelper
*IpodService
*Itunes.exe
*ItunesHelper.exe
3. Make sure you have the current Iphone or Ipod device drivers installed, by
checking in DeviceManager: Universal Serial Bus Controllers: Apple Mobile
Device USB
Drivers.
With all this checked and verified there should be no reason this will give
that error.

This is because the DLLs it depends on (iTunesMobileDevice.dll and ASL.dll) are
not in path usually.
Save to a .reg file, and dblClick it to merge it should do the trick. Assumes
default installation locations. Modify if necessary.

FOUND SOLUTION ON WINDOWS 7!!!!
Solution:
Do Not let setup auto run after it extracts the files. Cancel the install. Go to
XYourMainDriveX://Users//XUserNameX//AppData//Local//Temp//Setup.exe Right Click it and select run as admin and run in compatibility mode for windows xp sp3. Made all problems go away.
Also you need to go to control panel folder options and click show hidden files
and folders.

first download my the this attached file on to your desktop, or extract it on
your desk top.
copy the newly extracted file from your desk top
click start on your desktop
click computer
double click compaq(c)
click on program files
scroll down and click on iphonebrowser
paste the file in this folder
click the first file on the pop up window to replace existing file with new file
now select the newly replaced file and also the file name manzana.dll and
delete them
now go to your trash and empty it.
try launching iphonebrowser now and it works like am the best man on the job.
if it doesn't, make sure you download
NDP35SP1-KB958484-x86.exe
and repeat the whole procedure again. this time it works perfectly. Enjoy!
