All tools based pm the Manzana.dll crash due to a change in the
iTunesMobileDevice.dll

seems like you need iTunesMobileDevice.dll but be <v8.0
try to place the one you find attached to your local iPhoneList folder (where
you
find iPhoneList.exe)

but somehow the IphoneLinks does not work at all... if new location added,
nothing
happens :( after program restart, even the saved link is no more listed.

I agree. I'm still having an issue, even with putting itunesmobile.dll in the
folder
with the iphonelist.exe and all. Just simply tells me it stopped working before
it
even starts up. Do I have to a lesser version than Itunes 8 or what? I'm still a
little confused.

Even with the latest version having problems getting it to run.
Running Vista x64 but same behavior on XP SP3 32-bit and W7
