Banish the entire concept of "test" images #7

I've lost count of how many times problems are reported by observers, but we can never actually see the images they're reporting because they were "test" images that were never saved as a unique filename, so they were overwritten the next time they did a "test" image.

I am prepared to fight this battle with anyone who objects!

If observers complain: make "test" images just go into a "test" directory under the current run path so they're out of the main tree at least. I can probably convince people to deal with that with a smaller amount of effort.
