If a translated word is already revealed in the initial list, it will also appear as revealed when starting the review session which might defeat the purpose of the review session since the user is greeted with the word before having to ponder upon it.

Team's Response

Thank you for this report! This is indeed something that we can improve upon.

However, I believe that this issue is not that severe. As this will only happen when the user is in the same session, meaning that if they had already decided to do a revision before going into the review session in the same sitting, they would already "remember" the word without needing to ponder over it, as it is still fresh in their mind.

Therefore, it is my belief that this will not greatly impact the user experience. However, it is still something that could be improved upon.

Thank you!

 Issue severity

Team chose [severity.Low] Originally [severity.Medium]

Reason for disagreement: [replace this with your reason] I understand your argument, but I still think this could be an issue if there are a substantial number of words in the list. A user could have spontaneously revised that word without going into a review session and there is the chance the user would still not be too familiar with it, leading to the word being already revealed a significant drop in utility as the user is left with no chance at all to review that word in that session. Thus, I think the severity should still be medium.
