How to invoke the slider controls menu? (volume, brightness, gamma)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
There's are no steps, simply I don't know which shortcut key (single or combo) 
should be hit to access this menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There should be a shortcut key be it a single key or a combination of them that 
toggles the visibility of the slider controls menu (volume, brightness, gamma)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MAME4droid 1.5.2

Please provide any additional information below.
I know that the default.cfg in the cfg/ folder contains this configuration, but 
I don't know how to edit this because it's in hex. It would help If I knew the 
offsets to edit to enable a shortcut(s) key(s) to enable the slider menus. I 
know you can enable the emulator main menu by pressing COIN(select)+START (the 
same that pops up when you press TAB on the PC version of MAME). It shouldn't 
be too difficult to have this as an option, or at least tell where in the 
source code I can add the proper code to enable it.
