HDO_low_tariff is still ON #6

The HDO binary_sensor (HDO low tariff) is still ON. I have boiler in SMARTHDO mode, HDO (A,B, DP and frequency) properly configured, but get HDO still ON.

Is there any way to be able to debug it properly?

That binary sensor actually identifies if internal HDO decoder is enabled. Not HDO status.

I personally don't use internal HDO, so I can't test whether there is a way how to detect it. Or if the water heater even emits an event when HDO changes.

Thanks a lot for your explanation. Perhaps the description of the HDO binary sensor should be modified.

If I can be of any help (testing etc.) please let me know.

Hi. Thank you for great job on boiler monitoring. In my case I made this projekt for readig HDO status. Now I see that unfortunately it doesnt work. I supouse that HDO status should be available even if you use other mode. Only you have to set valid HDO code in mobile application depending on your power provider and lokalization. https://www.cezdistribuce.cz/cs/pro-zakazniky/spinani-hdo Please can you check it if ther is a way how to read HDO tarif status? I can test it.

Thanks.

There are better ways how to get current HDO status, like https://github.com/zigul/HomeAssistant-CEZdistribuce
