Time for a new release? #206

A whole lot of fixes and enhancements have been merged in the past few days (many, many thanks!), so maybe we should tag a new release to share all these goodies with our distributors? :smile:

This would in particular include the removal of the old manual URL, which has been the source of a few complaints recently (#175, #200).

On Feb 12, Debian has the "soft freeze" for its bullseye release. Releasing Twinkle in January would help to get the new version into that stable release which influences a ton of other distributions.

+1 I was seeing a lot of fixes and changes that are not in the older version. Like G722 and URL between others. So please, tag new version so we can get the latest modern app in voip in our PLasma DE

Given that this request is now over a year old without any response from the repo owner, I consider this project abandoned :-(

Maybe someone can step up forking this project . It happens sometimes but if there is someone with needed skills... No problems. Right?

Just a heads-up to anyone who saw there was a new release and thought it was time to celebrate: 1.10.3 is only a point release, so that the revised manual URL could easily make its way to most distributions. (In fact, further releases on the 1.10.x branch will be of that nature.)
