Content lost after each extension update #4

Saved content is lost after updating the extension. It is not confirmed but 95% sure. I have lost my content a few times, and today I clicked on "Update extensions now" to update this extension from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 and my content was gone again.

This is super annoying as extension updates automatically and suddenly I lose everything I had noted.

I know it is possibly a restriction on where do the extensions save their data but there should be some way of keeping the data on update (like keeping options in other extensions from one version to another)

It is also being removed on a daily basis :/
