Now that we have the decimal type working, we should try to get rid of this hack and retest the SQL Server source. Sunny, I'm assigning this one to you because (a) now you're an expert on SQL/MED and datatypes and (b) you can most easily deal with the impact on LucidDB tests. :) If it doesn't work at the data level, talk to John P.
