voice options #1

my girlfriend is a voiceover user and she has it on 100%. she finds this really useful for efficiency. I was wondering if adjustable speaking rate would be a possible feature? I think it would make gameplay a lot smoother and more comparable to the immediate visual information a sighted user gets. she also was wondering if the actual voice could be changed? for example my girlfriend likes to use moira for her devices.

I'm very glad that she finds the mod useful.

Sadly the Narrator that Minecraft uses at the moment has very few customization options, that is why in Windows I added compatibility with NVDA, an open source screen reader for Windows, with this you can customize the voice. Here is an example of someone using NVDA to play Minecraft: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdN_TjDtpyw

I don't know how to bridge the Minecraft Narrator with Voice Over and I don't have a Mac to try it either, I'm sorry.

Maybe in the future I could find a way to modify the native Minecraft Narrator's speed to make it work everywhere.
