Feature request: Setting "Default to Disabled on startup" #12

I only use this app when playing fullscreen games, it would be useful to have the app default to disabled upon startup so that I can then toggle it on when launching a game without having to toggle it off when I first bootup.

Currently, the app remembers it's state (which I imagine is useful for others) so adding a setting to default to disabled on startup I feel would be an adequate way to improve this experience.

As you already mentioned, it remembers its state ā€” including whether it is enabled. So when you shut down the computer and it is disabled, that will be remembered.

If you're suggesting that you shut down the computer in the middle of using fullscreen programs, then I lean towards the simple solution of manually toggling it off when you're done with it. But the situation you describe is questionable anyway, since the taskbar is not accessible when a window is exclusively fullscreen.

Apologies, for the confusion. Poor explanation on my end! The games I play are in borderless windowed mode (due to using a super ultra-wide) hence the taskbar continuing to show over the game. This is the reason I installed Buttery Taskbar in the first place! :)

I appreciate the simple solution of disabling it before shutting down the computer however this is not fool proof (and I am somewhat of a fool šŸ˜‚). This morning when turning on my pc I thought windows explorer was going wrong but in actual fact, Iā€™d just forgotten to disable Buttery Taskbar before shutting down.
