@tjorim please do not approve and merge in one step. The idea is to have a 4-eyes process where other check the changes.

as for dependabot updates, it would make at least some sense to update the version number in the main branch, no? otherwise we're pushing lots of changes into main and the version number never changes and won't reflect these changes.

Alternativ we could create version branches and have a protected main branch.
