Please stop use Google drive for new upstream release #104

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

In Debian and Ubuntu, we have tools to keep track of the new upstream release
and download them automatically. However, this is broken with the usage of
Google drive.

Please use the Downloads section of code.google.com

This led us to move:
http://google-opensource.blogspot.se/2013/05/a-change-to-google-code-download-se
rvice.html

It looks like downloads from code.google.com won't be a viable option moving
forward.

Other suggestions for hosting, or should we just close this?

Anything which allow an automatic and transparent download would be fine.
For example, a basic browsable directory HTTP will be fine.

I'll defer to vsapsai, he set up the Google Drive account.

It's a shame code downloads disappeared :-/

Nice! Volodymyr, is this something you'll be able to keep alive? Good to close
this issue

I intend to support include-what-you-use.com working. We can use Google Drive
as a backup.
