Yeah I know we aren't using gRPC and for that we're doing great so lets continue doing that.
This whole reason this entire repo exists.. serde performs terribly with the gRPC communication frameworks, apparently all of them.
We're definitely going to be using serde for serialization so something to keep in mind.
