(1.16) Torches do nothing #4

Playing MC 1.16.5. Torcherino loads good. But the torches does nothing. Even playing around with the settings. Still nothing. No problem placing the torches. Just don't have any effect. The jar says 1.16.4, although download is the 1.16.5 one. Love this mod. Played in 1.12.2 with it for years. Please help.

You to have click the torch once its placed, it opens the config page, you set it up there

I have the same problem for 1.16.5 Torch work with Plants and Vanilla blocks, but MODS are not working (anymod) for example I tried Thermal, BotanyPots, Mekanism, 0 effects. In 1.18.2 No problem. but for 1.16.5 0 effect.
