SMART helps to frame a sales presentation.

Specific = Be specific about what is being provided.
Measurable = Metrics need to be used to track the goal.
Attainable = The goal cannot be impossible.
Relevant = The goal makes sense given the current market place and the market fit of the product.
Time-Based = Define a time frame for the goal.
