After finishing my install of arch Linux on my 10 year old Sony Vaio (model no. VPCEH35EN), I installed larbs the intended way.
On the top right corner, the battery percentage is shown to be 0 along with the red button emoji.
But the laptop's battery is charging and even after unplugging the charger, it holds the charge and doesn't shuts down.
I've made many searches online but none of them solves my issue.
If it's relevant, the keyboard shortcuts to change the display's brightness aren't working as well.
Kindly help me resolve the issue since not knowing the battery's percentage would make this system really unreliable.
Thank you for your work, Luke.
