unfortunately, due to changes to how extensions work in gnome 45, this extension currently can't work. the values modified by this extension are no longer accessible and modifiable. I have opened an issue on the gnome-shell gitlab page, to address this issue.

Update: I've compiled gnome from source, and with the changes i suggested, it works. I have made an MR on the gnome-shell repo and am waiting for it to be approved.
