Yeah, the solution is to just boot an 8.0 ramdisk. There is a guide on how to do that in here: https://ios7.iarchive.app/
You just need to boot the ramdisk once, reboot, and it should boot back.
I guess I'll be adding 8.0 ramdisk option in the future, it will just take some time and testing
holy shit the quick response, will try now, hopefully it works man im very panicked rn
ok so my tiny brain isn't understanding the guide right now, I am not sure what part of the guide should I follow
Is it possible for you to create the ramdisk for me to boot with? With my limited knowledge I am not confident that I can do it correctly without messing things up
The guide is pretty advanced, I'll try to make the process a bit simpler (this should get much easier once 8.0 ramdisks are added in the script)
For the requirements, you don't need all of those listed in the guide. You will only need the iOS 8.0 IPSW, and these tools: Archive.zip
The archive already contains the tools needed (img4lib, img4tool, iPatcher, irecovery) and A7 IM4M needed
And also install gnu-tar
in Homebrew
Then just follow through the following two below:
Once you see the OK on the screen, the device should be safe to reboot (hold power and home, and hope for the best)
I cannot download the 8.0 IPSW from ipsw.me, can you try downloading it? It just says ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE

Replacing https://secure-appldnld
with http://appldnld
should fix it: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS8/031-05671.20140917.dyJlj/iPhone6,1_8.0_12A365_Restore.ipsw
Just saw it lol thanks
Alright after an hour of struggling I give up, maybe you could help me make the Ramdisk or I'll just wait until the tool can do it for me. It's 2am and I really need some sleep
After getting some sleep I actually managed to fix it let's gooo
creating and booting ios 8 ramdisk for a7 devices has now been added as of v24.02.29

Basically I have a 5s on iOS 7.1 and I wanted to save the onboard SHSH blobs After using the SSH Ramdisk it save the blobs and I choose the reboot device option but it cannot boot The apple logo shows for a bit and it shows a blank screen Its not off, the screen is still on but there's nothing, connecting it to my Mac it shows iPhone in recovery mode Any help on how to get my 5s boot again without losing iOS 7.1? Below is the log of my second attempt of saving blobs and rebooting First try's log is gone because I panicked :(((
