Please switch to the XDG file picker instead of the Libadwaita/GTK one. Using XDG would open the file picker the user is already used to. For more info: https://flatpak.github.io/xdg-desktop-portal/docs/doc-org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser.html

i dont control what file picker zenity uses in distribution packages
