onscreen keyboard and physical keyboard issue #24

When first loading nitroid using the new auto installer issues typing occur 
when trying to enter a password when signing into googles getting started 
application.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I type a password with physical keyboard and the letter a highlights and the 
next keypress deletes the line. I had to use the screen keyboard to type the 
letters and the physical keyboard to type the numbers.
2. The wifi settings options while typing the password keeps popping up 
randomly while entering the password in problem 1
3. you can not use the numbers on the screen keyboard when typing in wifi key.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
mistyped or deleted text.

What is your device, RootFS and kernel versions?
I am currently using the newest kernel and RootFS provided by Nitroid v0.0.7

Please provide any additional information below.

And some times it works and can use the onscreen keyboard to type numbers. 
This is just a general problem.

I have been experimenting all day with the latest release of NITdroid on my 
N900. I was never able to use the on screen keyboard to enter numbers... 
however I have never experienced deleted characters.

I have had the on screen keyboard numbers entering issue. It occurred when I 
tried to write numbers at the Exchange password field in the Mail application.

Onscreen Keyboard does not work when inputting Wifi's password.
