Leaves texture messed up, Leaves Quality does nothing

Describe the Bug

So I have potato pc and I would like to play on Fast Graphics but that makes the vanilla leaves look like that (1st image) so I tried putting the leaves quality to Fancy and leave the graphics at Fast but does nothing, have tried changing settings , but didn't do much,either whole world is fancy or not ,I do not want to mess with resourcepacks, I don't know if it is caused by a resource pack ,but It should be when the graphics is set to fast the leaves should look normal without the "extra" texture( the little leaves the go outside of the block) ,and I should be able to set the world to fast and the leaves to Fancy, I recon that is what the feature is supposed to do.
