Death crash (without corpse mod)

Describe the Bug

Everything works fine until I die and press "respawn". That's when the game crashes.

Reproduction Steps

1. Create a new world
2. Find a way to die
3. Press Respawn ...

This happened with the corpse mod as well. I have checked the other death crash issues which all mention deleting the corpse mod, which I did after but still didn't fix the issue.
