MMC4 v8 damage from overheating and from nothing at all #666

Describe the Bug

I've upgraded MMC4 v6 to v8 and it's unplayable at the moment. Whenever I'm at my base on plains or close to it, I take damage from heat. The other player takes damage from heat anywhere on the map. My armor had a total of 8 temp. points, so I changed the armor to chainmail (total 0.4 pts.) and still suffer from overheating. I found the survive mod in the ingame menu and disabled temperature. I thought my troubles would end here, but no. After some time I began to take damage anywhere in the world from nothing. No debuff, no status to tell me what's hurting me. I disabled all parts of the survive mod (stamina, well being etc.), but still receive damage from nothing. Reconnecting doesn't help. Other player has the same experience.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Upgrade MMC4 server from v6 to v8.

If this doesn't occur with the Survive mod itself removed from the mods folder, its an issue with the Survive mod. Please report it to the Survive developer so this can be fixed.
