Describe the Bug

It appears that there's been a misunderstanding somewhere, since you seem unable to understand what the bug is at all.

I have removed Simple Storage Network from the modpack, and the issue of chests functioning incorrectly persists, as shown in the images I had sent before. The bug has nothing to do with SSN or its dependencies. The only reason SSN keeps getting brought up, is because it's easiest to view the issue with SSN, as the other issues that have been found require a knowledge of hopper mechanics to understand, which I suppose I shouldn't expect everyone to necessarily have. Let me break down what's going on in this image.

In vanilla, hoppers will pull from any slot in the chest. However, the bug in MMC4 disables that capability of hoppers, as well as other blocks and entities that can pull from chests. They will only pull from the half of the chest that they are connected to, which ruins even the most simple contraptions that use double chests, such as a basic auto-smelter.

If you are still struggling to understand me, I would be happy to record a video for you and/or talk to you privately to discuss what the issue is. If needed, I can break it all down in as much excruciating detail as required. If you simply don't care to address major bugs in the modpack, that is one thing, but I wish to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you actually have some desire to maintain some amount of basic functionality.

will look into it next update - my best guess is its caused by Alternate Current or Canary/Radium

I tested with only radium, and the bug still applied then. I contacted them about it. Will update if they reply to my report.

Seems to be caused by mixin.world.block_entity_ticking.sleeping, will disable in v25.
