Modpack is unplayable (constant lag, freezing and crashes)

Describe the Bug

From my 1st fresh install to now my 14th attempt, this modpack has done nothing but lag, freeze and crash, each instance taking 20+ minutes. I've managed to get into a world a total of 3 times, only one of which didn't immediately crash. Using the lowest graphical settings, reinstalling and trying different ram allocations (from 4 to 8 GBs) did nothing.
