[Filters] Manual item filtering broken #3

You can add custom association, but it won't update the bag filtering and it seems you're unable to remove the manual item filter afterwards.

Seems to work for me, could you elaborate?

Could you again, link to a video or screenshot that explains the issue. You unfortunately only linked to the mainpage.

Might this be the problem:

  1. Have several custom categories.
  2. Open Adibags settings to edit them.
  3. Find that they aren't listed properly.

I disabled all other addons except for Addon Control Panel which I use to disable/enable addons without logging out.

Update

I was doing edits using my workaround (see below) and my UI changed. The problem is not solved, but it now looks a lot like a known issue that was solved over int he official Adibags Github: https://github.com/AdiAddons/AdiBags/pull/494

For clarity: only the first three items are actually in the Currency category; the other items shown are from various Equipment Categories, image

A workaround for this issue is to simply edit the files directly to remove items from categories or entire categories. It is not pretty, but it works!

See the file "AdiBags.lua" in C:\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables

I was able to remove sections with ease, and then specific items are more difficult requiring that one look the up using ID. Didn't bother with that as they can be moved manually should they crop up in a bag somewhere to the correct category.
