When recording a period, users can choose to either put start date or both start date and end date, while this is good, the user cannot add an end date to a recorded period where they only specified start date.

User has failed to read the UG carefully. It was clearly stated "To add the end date, use the command with START_DATE being the corresponding start date and END_DATE being the end date to be added."
