The App requested for a username when first launched, however during my test I had never used my username so I wonder if this step is necessary.

Team's Response

Application only does not request for username only if there is already a data file present, and does if no data file is present. The app would have restored the entered username back from the save file, so it does not prompt again.

This is intended.
