A cookie that doesn't have a site is usually one that comes from a html file on your computer. So if you opened a file from your computer in firefox, that might be the culprit.
I use a separate extension to manually inspect and delete single cookies: "Cookie Quick Manager". But that doesn't seem to be able to delete such cookies either. Interesting..
FMN works superbly with no loss of Firefox functionality. However a nameless site succeeds in setting cookies and I am unable to delete them in Firefox.
