blender not responding #178

hi. updated to the latest files. after selecting the opencl in viewport settings and changing the view to rendered the blender does not respond anymore. even with an empty scene.

Did you also compile the latest LuxCore sources and replaced the binaries?

i didnt compile. i just repleaced them in the bin folder. as always do

If you want to use the latest BlendLuxCore (Python) code, you also have to use the latest LuxCore (C++/OpenCL) code. So you have two options:

What you can not do: Download the latest BlendLuxCore sources and just put in the LuxCore binaries from the last official release. It might work sometimes, but it can break with the weirdest errors and it is a waste of time to debug them, because the whole combination is not even supposed to work.
