Blender freezes #482

If I make a ViewPortRender from the Default Scene, Blender freezes immediately.

No Problems with BlendLuxCore from 09.06.2020.

Blender 2.90 Alpha from Today BlendLuxCore from today Win 10 GTX 1070 - Latest Studio Driver

Have you tried with Blender v2.83 ? v2.90 is under development so the problem may be not in LuxCore.

v2.90 is under development so the problem may be not in LuxCore. Thats right, but the same Blender 2.90 Build works flawlessly with BlendLuxCore from 09.06.2020. I'm waiting for a new BlendLuxCore Build for testing.

Testet again with BlendLuxCore latest build (released this 1 hour ago) It also freezes. Back to BlendLuxCore Build from 09.06.2020.

P.S. Numbering and a changelog for any lastest build would be very helpful. Or are the small numbers on the side (in this case 066bde9) the complete changelog?

Not a changelog, but it points to the commit the build was made from, so it is essentially a more precise variant of a version number. It is a good idea to include it in bug reports.

About your issue, can you upload an example .blend file that shows the problem, with detailed steps how to reproduce?

Fresh Blender Build from today with default settings and Standard Objects and Materials. If I make a Viewport Render, BlendLuxCore freeze.

Bidir, however, works a bit better - with denois deactivated even better. Path works with GPU, does freeze on CPU settings.

BlendLuxCore 659cb0e seems to be working. Until now I had no viewport freezes.
