TikTok is currently the biggest short video sharing platform, it would be amazing to tap into that as a resource

TikTok has a developer API so we could do something like the Reddit downloader and use the API to gather data and youtube-dl to actually get the content

I have not tried implementing anything as of this issue.

TikTok has a direct API although I did find some Python bindings which should be interesting to check out.
