game freeze during cutscenes #31

both of my Monitor lost the connection and the game freeze only duringg Cutscenes is it bc of the mod or the Game?

If your display is dropping, that sounds like a GPU driver crash. That would be a stability issue with your PC. You might want to pare back any overclocks you have (especially on the GPU) and run some stability tests.

I had the same question. Is it really stability issue? I didn't have this problem in other games.

If you're having the same symptoms then I would think it is a stability issue. This game is very demanding and I wouldn't be surprised if it's rooting out some unstable systems.

but i never fr never had this issue in any game before yeah i had crashes but never with lost connection from my monitor

Btw did you have HDR on like me? Maybe the game just crashed and the HDR just turned off 🤔 Oh no it crashed again when I was writing this 😂

im using HDR but i think the issue is maybe fullscreen that was the problem in the demo but not sure im playing on borderless window now and ill see. and i dont have this pop up my game freezed and need to end the task

and i did 2 60 seconds furmark benchmark test and everything was alright no connection lost or anything i think its a bug from the game i just hope borderless window fixed this issue

After changing to borderless I didn't have the problem again

oh fr that sounds good, but is the HDR Quality on the same level as Fullscreen?

Hello, I have the same problem in fullscreen. I don't have any overclocking. The game freezes, and the monitor loses connection. I have to use ALT + TAB to return to the frozen game window and eventually reboot the PC because I can't access the Windows Task Manager. I'll try borderless window mode to see if that resolves the issue, but I hope it doesn't have any impact on G-Sync/Freesync.

borderless window should solve the problem but im not sure about the impact on freesync and gsync
