In theory the behavior should be the same as in the Steam version, since GTAO can also be enabled modifying the Engine.ini file which is present in any version of an Unreal Engine game.
I haven't been able to replicate this issue on my end, everything looks as it should. Running the latest NVIDIA drivers on Windows 11, with the latest version of the fix (with some flags disabled for compatibility reasons with the MS Store build).
I have the same issue on the steam version. Fiddling with r.ambientocclusionlevels
doesn't seem to do anything either.
I also have no issue with GTAO, however Ghost of Tsushima had similar visual artifacts intermittently with GTAO enabled, so this might be an intrinsic issue with the Intel library. Unfortunately, the development of GTAO implementation from Intel has ceased, so there's a very slim chance of fixing it.
First of, i want to clarify this is an issue i had in the MS Store/Xbox app edition, so i don't know if it happens in the Steam version as well. I enabled GTAO and has some baked AO that moves the wrong way through my screen as you can see in the video At first i thought it was an issue related to the screen percentage being at 125, but disabling the option doesn't affect the issue when GTAO is on.
This is my Log file: SMTVFix.log
This is the link to the video so you can see what im talking about.
PS: If you want i can move the Issue to the Xbox version thread if you consider that it is more appropriate to be there. PS2: sorry for the bad english.
