Game capped at 60fps when game is in focus #6

When I'm playing the game, it's capped at 60 fps but if I alt-tab, the framerate is no longer capped but I can't play.

FOV and Ultrawide work fine though. Thanks for the mod!

Hmm I can't replicate that on my end. You don't happen to have a maximum background framerate set in NVCP (if you use an Nvidia card)?

If that's not it, try forcing VSync with your driver control panel for the game. Also if you're on Windows 11, open Game Bar and tick "Remember this is a game".

I do not, it's set to off. I went ahead forced VSync through the NVCP and ticked the "Remember this is a game" setting within the Game Bar but I'm still getting locked at 60 fps. I did try the "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and several Steam launch commands to get it open in exclusive fullscreen instead of borderless windowed to no avail. I know it may be unrelated but Metaphor runs uncapped on my machine with your fix.

Also can attest to the same issue with the 60 fps cap. No matter what setting I change in the NVCP, game refuses to go above 60.

Not sure why it isn't working for you both. Can one of you post a SotDFix.log file please?

Sure thing, here's my log file

So I reinstalled the mod then I added these commands as launch options within Steam: -window-mode exclusive -screen-fullscreen

The game now runs uncapped but it's still running borderless windowed mode which is weird since that's what the launch options are supposed to prevent. Though sure enough, I tried with and without the commands and the commands unlocked my FPS every time.
