This is being done to files on my network storage device, which has approximately 5 TB of space left. The files in question total approximately 25.5 GB.

The dry run presented no issues.

I am using the latest Windows binary (v0.15.1-beta) on a Win10 computer.

I tried to access the folder that popped up with errors on my local computer and all I got were Error 302s:

(btw, where are the errors located in the project files? Error 302 is too nebulous a name. I don't know what it means.)

Error 302 means the program could not save the output file. I guess it might be a permission issue, since it's a network storage. The dry-run does not open or write files, so it makes sense.

PS: I agree the error number alone isn't enough. Furthermore, it's not a caesium-clt error, but it's triggered by the libcaesium library, so it's even harder to track.

My first run-through was on my NAS and resulted in the Output file write error --- out of disk space? error.

My second attempt was on my actual computer (NOT the NAS) and resulted in the 302. I even used admin mode for my powershell window.

Can you try a JPG instead of a PNG on your local drive? Error 302 is very specific to the PNG format.

out of disk space is a bit misleading, but it's - like the PNG - an output write error. The files are compressed in subfolders: can you check if all the folders are in place? It might be that the program cannot create the folder structure correctly. You can also try to compress the files without the -S parameter in a folder that already exists. I'll also run some test by myself.

Confirmed. It cannot create the folder structure, even with Administrator rights. It's a bug, so I'm going to release a new version ASAP.

Not sure what permissions would be needed for this to work. I'll need to figure that out since programs like JDownloader and qBittorrent have no issue accessing the NAS and changing data.
