2 years ago I'm unable to test properly as my Windows system is a VM and the plugin is consistently slow there. But it builds and works.
For now, libdovi isn't included for Windows. Hopefully it can be linked statically.
I don't think this breaks anything. Will wait a bit before merging in case anyone wants to try building on Windows.
It would be pretty good to start having useful instructions for building.
