Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently some configuration parameters are mutually exclusive. There is no validation and the correct options are silently applied. That currently leads to misconception at the user side

Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise warning or error should appear if a user configures invalid option combinations.

Added new config structure and validation in #55 This is a breaking change to current installations
