As someone will at some point open this issue anyway, I'll do it here. This issue will not be fixed here. No Wine developers here! Most probably this issue finally forces someone to get LoL to run on a more modern wine version. But we'll see.

Fixed by updating to a patched wine-tkg in version 5.18
