There are basically two states the BaSe can be in

BCU is off and PCU has control over the Hardware HMI
BCU is on and has control over the HMI

BCU is off

PCU has control

Infos to display

next backup timestamp (like: "07.11.2023 12:00")
next backup ETA (like "12d 17h")
backup hard drive statistics. Free vs. occupied memory
amount of backups

Actions to trigger

backup now
start BCU (e.g. for configuration ... or just for fun)

BCU is on

and has control

idle-->|off|po

backup-->idle

Idle State

Infos to display (first 4 are the same as above)

next backup timestamp (like: "07.11.2023 12:00")
next backup ETA (like "12d 17h")
backup hard drive statistics. Free vs. occupied memory
amount of backups
IP address, port, hostname

Actions to trigger

backup now
shutdown now

Backup State

Infos to display

backup progress
HDD memory stats
IP address

Actions to trigger

abort backup
shutdown now
