It would be nice to show the number of connections over time

Once this PR https://github.com/akpw/mktxp/pull/32 is merged, the metric ip_connections_total is available. Its values can then be used to craft a connections over time graph in Grafana.

The MR is merged. So a matching Panel can be added to Grafana
