NanaZip not showing in Windows 11 "Show more options" #26

Can you reproduce the same problem when right clicking on "Show more options" for a single file?

Hi @SakuraNeko Yes, the problem happens as well for single file.

However now I think this might be an issue from my side. I created a new local user account and reinstalled NanaZip, and it is showing now.

I will try to investigate more what is exactly happening.

Hi @Raymai97 & @SakuraNeko, I'm having the same problem. The context menu only shows on the new Win11 UI and not on the "Show more options". Happens in every situation (single file, multiple files, folders, etc.). This is true for Preview 2 and 3 (never had P1).

Its worth mentioning that this was a fresh install of Windows 11 and i had 7-Zip installed (which i no longer have) when i discovered NanaZip and installed it.

I'll post if there's some developments or if i find the problem. Thank You!

Thank you very much for your report, we determined that this may be a known issue. But we still need to find a way to reproduce it consistently so that we can determine at what point this problem is caused. We will continue to try to reproduce this issue and if you find anything new, please let us know in the first place.

I see the same issue with the context menus on windows 10 (which I guess makes sense, since that's the same as the windows 11 show more options menu)

If I right click on a folder I do see nanazip in the context menu

If I right click an individual file I do not (doesn't matter whether it's a .zip file or a regular file)

I think it may be the issue from Windows. I have met the similar situation when I installed NanaZip. I have solved it by restarting the File Explorer process in the Task Manager.

So I closed the issue, and if you met the similar situation and not solved even after restarting the File Explorer process in the Task Manager. Feel free to open a new issue.

Fix in #205
No new feedback for a long time. If the problem is found to appear again in Windows with the latest LCU, you can reopen(and comment) this issue or submit an new issue (note the complete Windwos Version Number).
