I see M3 like a virtual hackerspace (see presentation) Hackerspaces have storage shelves that members can add / borrow stuff from.

We're often connecting various projects and communities together This is especially true with NFTs which enable positive sum incentives M3 has the midas touch for metaversing, anything we touch gets more meta / dank

It makes sense for M3 to have NFTs in the DAO treasury that members can utilize in projects It's also useful to have them on the balance sheet when designing a token, similar to egirl cap / $whale / etc

This issue is to thread the discussion of NFT tributes Things on my mind:

• How many tokens per NFT contribution?
  • Is there a cap / bonding curve formula?
  • Which NFTs are allowed?
  • How do we fairly evaluate them?
  • How much voting power should they get?

Was researching what's new with MolochDAO since v3 came out recently, found this proposed evolution called TributeDAO. This framework is being developed by openlaw which I found interesting too.

The Tribute DAO Framework is under constant development, and the code has not been officially audited.

TributeNFT is an adapter that allows potential DAO members to contribute a registered ERC-721 asset to the DAO in exchange for any amount of DAO units.

Can just start with a hackmd where anyone who owns certain NFTs can just post a link to it there as a signifier that they are allowing anyone in M3 to use it (without having to actually transfer the NFTs). That way people can retain custody over them and the barrier to contributing to the shared repository is much lower.

+1 to allowing retained custody, mitigate dissuading contributions of super high value assets. I do like the Tribute -> Token concept though, and the balance sheet aspect may not translate to network of wallets. Some other potential bottlenecks w/ some land if it requires ownership to build on. M3 <-> $ROBOT holder perk and potentially expand into further aligned partnerships and grow one uber dank asset bank.
