Vket5 Field Trip

Virtual Market 5 is here ya'll! On opening night (December 19th) we'll be meeting up to casually explore some worlds. There are some Quest compatible worlds this year again too. Later, we'll take a more planned trip with a camera crew, livestreaming to twitch, and augmentations.

How to Join

Install VRChat from Steam on a Windows 10 PC: https://store.steampowered.com/app/438100/VRChat/ or from the Oculus store app if you're on Quest (note: you'll only be able to visit a couple worlds with Oculus Quest).

Planning a trip to Vket5 this weekend (Fri and/or Saturday) and want to treat it as like a virtual production + research assignment where we see booths, interview creators, and answer some questions about our overall experience.

The agenda will look like this:

I'm thinking a good time for Friday will be around 5pm PST. Let me know if that all sounds good, looking forward!

Definitely curious about all this. Best time for me is Wednesday evening, but could probably make Saturday day work.

  • Avatar culture, booth design, booth contents, Vket5 specifics, shopping experience, etc
  • Stop by PlutoVR / Webaverse / Cryptoavatars booths for short interviews with the creators
  • Drop into the VR production studio for a recap panel discussion
  • Short survey at the end
