The marcos software wants the flocra or ghd (?) amplifier board. How does "ours" compare? It should be a lot less complicated I assume.

We use simple gain amplifiers (or low noise for receive) between the rf switch and the redpitaya. Got datasheets and information on the amplifiers from Takuya here and added them in 5bbf22783e8185ffec971354b83c35b152ff6f7d
