Request support for Power A Moga #188

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago

I would like to request support for the Moga Bluetooth controller from Power A.
Its a nice little controller held back the need to run their proprietary app in
order to run with apps you have to buy through them. Even if you already own
the same game. Being able to use it wish pretty much any app would be great.
Hope this can be done. Thanks.

I would like to, but it looks like they would actively prevent it if at all
possible.
I will not work on this right now.

There is a special version called Moga general driver that the source code is
based on BluezIME.I don't know if POWERA will prevent it.But it seems works OK
and is on google Play Store for some time.

I have asked the developer of the Moga General driver to backport the driver
stuff to Bluez-IME, and he agreed, but so far no update.

Do you need him that bad to make it? Would u not be able to tweak his current
app? Sorry i realize I dont know much about this kinda stuff but my issue is I
bought n64oid and your app is the only one that they will let you run to use
bluetooth enabled controllers this is the only reason im even askin right now
man

No, I cannot do anything with his app, unless he releases the source code.
I believe that the LGPL license requires him to do so, but I have not found it,
nor pursued it further.
