connecting to 8bitty ICP #199

What version of BluezIME are you using?
1.16

What Android device do you have? What Android version?
Samsung Galaxy 1

What gamepad are you using?
iCade 6-bitty

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Pair phone to gamepad
2. Select gamepad in Bluez
3. Prompted with "Connecting to: [Mac address]" then "Connection refused"
4. I know the gamepad is working correctly through bluetooth because I am able 
to "type" with it. Each press and depress is a different letter.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to use this gamepad with droidemu application. There's a review on 
google play from a user that managed to get it to work through Bluez IME. I 
must be missing something. Any insight would be great.

Please provide any additional information below.
