Bluez ime on Galaxy S3 4.1.2 problems

What version of BluezIME are you using? 1.17

What Android device do you have? Samsung Galaxy S3

What Android version? 4.1.2

What gamepad are you using? iControlPad

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Please provide any additional information below.

How do I configure bluez ime to work with my S3, must I connect the controller 
first using phone BT settings, then go into Bluez ime?
I can connect the ICP to the phone using normal BT but it doesn't work in 
emus/games (Nes.Emu for instance detects it but the buttons do nothing).

Is there a guide for the S3 and bluez ime?

No, you should not need to pair or otherwise enable anything within the system 
Bluetooth settings.
Also make sure you have the iCP set to SPP mode.
