Ipega Analogs not working #239

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What version of BluezIME are you using?
1.16 + HID
What Android device do you have? What Android version?
Xiaomi Mi2S with android 4.1.1
What gamepad are you using?
Ipega
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Pairing
2.Setting bluezime and epsxe
3.Playing

What happens.
I've tried this with different emulators but the output is still the same, when
I try to make the character (tried with Tomb Raider) walk RightUp its alright,
but when I try to make him walk LeftUp it looks like that left command
surpasses the Up command, so the character stops going forward and start
spinning to the left, but this doesn't happen with the command LeftDown, where
the character will back off and do also the Left command.
This doesn't happen if I pair the Ipega natively so I guess that It's a
software problem.
Also I can't really get the analogs to work as they should with Epsxe (can't
get Ape Escape to work)

I'm having the same issue over here.

I'm using the 1.18-dev06 build of BluezIME and the top left corner isn't
working. Trying it out with Street Fighter and similar games is when I noticed
it.

Within the app I tried to configure the key mapping to different keys ("d-pad
up" is now "letter k" etc) but the problem remains. In keyboard mode it's fine,
I just don't get use of the analogue sticks, which I need for the n64 and stuff.

This was just fixed, but no new build yet.

Sorry, just the left-up was fixed, not the analog movement.

I will take a look at the analog sticks tonight and suggest something if i spot
anything.. tbh though i have not had any issues in the dual shock ed of
Resident evil or mapping buttons to the sticks.

I have had a private messages telling me that the analog sticks work in MD.emu
by Robert Broglia.
The source code for MD.emu is using the Imagine framework, which has open
source code here:
https://code.google.com/p/emu-ex-plus-alpha/source/browse/#git%2Fimagine%2Fsrc%2
Fbluetooth

But, I cannot see an ipega specific support there, and I do not know which
controller it maps to.

I thank everyone of you for doing such a nice app and I appreciate your hard
work you're putting on the fixes, and I thank you for reading my problem

regarding the n64 emulator that actually works flawless, maybe the problem
relay on the emulator itself, try something different
